OUR WHY

At Veteran Families for Education and Awareness, we've seen firsthand the devastating impact of toxic exposure on military families. Some of our servicemen and women, as well as their loved ones, including spouses and children, suffer from exposure to various forms of hazardous pollution. Often, the latent effects of these exposures go unnoticed for years or even decades.

Motivated by our own experiences, VFEA is determined to increase awareness of military toxic exposure issues to draw attention to the increased risk of cancer and noncancer diseases among service members and their families.

Through education and greater awareness, we empower veterans and their families to advocate for themselves and others affected by toxic exposures. We encourage them to engage with policymakers, raise awareness, and collaborate with medical professionals and researchers for effective treatments and prevention.

We believe that by shining a light on this issue, we can drive positive change and ensure that military and veteran families receive the support and resources they deserve. Join us in honoring the sacrifices of veterans and their loved ones as we work towards a future free from toxic exposure for all military families.
